Sending Icebergs

It’s like a birth but it is in reverse never gets better, always gets worse

8 notes

Think in black and white
you are not colored television
you are silent films
you are 35 millimeter film
you are light sensitive silver halide
waiting for a shooting star to captivate your soul forever

you are weighed down with big dreams
your moment to moment life is a dramatic ending

I wish life would cancel you
I wish the power would go out
in your head

your eyes are cataract’d
from seeing stars too long

I’d like to punch you silly
and free all the birds, stars, and butterflies from your body
you are a cage
of things a lifetime more graceful than you are.

Please
stop the sequels
refund the budget
take it all back

hang your Hollywood head in the hills
and put your uncrafty hands back on your body
go blind
go deaf
become mute.
